Arrow Electronics Change Management
Arrow Electronics’ corporate real estate team manages millions of square feet of real estate across the globe. Their varied portfolio, including extensive real estate gathered through mergers and acquisitions, was in need of a thorough portfolio review.
CRTKL worked with Arrow Electronics’ internal team to examine the portfolio, seeking opportunities to optimize existing space and implement best practices. Best practice review included not only developing methods for enhancing utilization and technology integration, but also portfolio restructuring.
In addition to developing a portfolio strategy, CRTKL worked with the Arrow Electronics’ corporate real estate and information technology teams to develop new IT guidelines that integrate technology (infrastructure, security, A/V, and personal devices) with the real estate development process. CRTKL then developed an intranet site merging existing real estate standards, the newly developed IT standards, and the real estate store into a single, user-friendly platform.
Following development of the intranet site, CRTKL developed a comprehensive change management program for Arrow Electronics to deploy as real estate changes occur. This toolkit can be adapted for any type of real estate change, from site closure to complete renovation and change to workplace strategies. A train-the-trainer program was held to support the corporate real estate team in rolling out the change management program.
