Designed and constructed in two phases, the Autoland complex highlights the best of two distinct automotive brands. The first phase involved separating the Toyota showroom from the Chrysler Jeep Dodge showroom, increasing Toyota’s display area. Extensive interior renovations and an improved layout followed in phase two. The Toyota showroom was designed to meet the Toyota Brand Image II concept. The design team met regularly with the local planning board for approvals on square foot analysis, site drainage and signage studies to comply with city ordinances. Throughout both phases, CallisonRTKL’s design team was able to keep the dealerships operational, resulting in a design that meets the needs of the clients and the automotive brands.
