DALLAS, TX—October 31, 2019—CallisonRTKL’s vice presidents Jim Henry, Michael Hess and Dan Thomas will attend the Healthcare Design Expo and Conference from November 2-5 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our multidisciplinary healthcare practice group is organized around client needs, and offers expertise in healthcare architecture and interiors, health facility planning and transitioning, healthcare technologies and medical equipment planning.
With 3,200+ industry professionals attending, the Healthcare Design Expo & Conference is a healthcare design-focused networking, education and product-sourcing event. The expo will feature the newest products from 250+ exhibitors and teach attendees about the latest research, trends, and strategies from both peers and experts.
Jim Henry: Jim is a Senior Vice President for CRTKL. His extensive portfolio brings nearly 20 years of architectural experience reflecting his commitment to designing physical environments that enrich lives and promote the humanistic principles he strongly values. Jim is an award-winning architect with recognition both in leadership and design. He strives to bring visionary leadership and design to every project opportunity. Michael Hess: Michael has over 30 years of diverse expertise in all aspects of healthcare planning, design and delivery. With a career founded in medical planning and project management, he has partnered with some of the most recognized health systems domestically and in over 15 countries to provide efficient, forward-thinking solutions. Michael has led clients and teams through strategic healthcare program development and operational improvements in master planning, design and construction phases of new and expansion healthcare projects across the United States, Asia, and the Middle East. His experience and leadership bring a deep understanding of the operational engine that makes hospitals succeed through positive clinical outcomes and healing environments. He deploys research, Evidence-Based Design and Lean processes for clients in private and government institutions, including investors and developers.
Dan Thomas: Dan has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare design and planning domestically and internationally. Dan brings a wide range of knowledge of master planning, schematic design and programming. He understands the unique demands of healthcare facilities by performing extensive research in current and future state analysis, industry trends and best practices. Dan leads the project team in establishing the overall design and planning vision and works closely with the owner and end-users to reach set goals.
