BALTIMORE, Md. – October 1, 2020 – William “Ridge” Dixon, Senior Associate, has announced that he will retire after a tenure of nearly 40 years with CRTKL. He began with RTKL in 1978 while completing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Currently, he functions as a Senior Project Manager in the workplace sector. Some of his most notable projects include the Pentagon reconstruction and the Bancroft Hall renovation at the Naval Academy. The Naval Academy has been his primary client for thirteen years.
“I have worked with Ridge for 27 years and he is the best project manager I think we have,” begins Bill McCarthy, Vice President in CRTKL’s Baltimore office. “He is a consummate professional in all his actions and communications. He is detail-oriented and organized, and he really understands how to do great work that is well coordinated. Most importantly, he instills ‘fun’ as a requirement for the team in the process. To me (and many others), he has been a mentor, a co-worker, an awesome wingman and a really good friend. He represents what might have been called ‘the RTKL-way’ in his approach to our work, our staff and our clients – he is one of those few that will be impossible to replace.”
