Jennifer Barnes, senior associate vice president of workplace, was the lead designer for the American Greetings office in Ohio. The CRTKL team was immersed in the workplace and observed employees to see their daily routines and what they needed and wanted.
In the new year, Barnes said she also expects to see diversity in types of workspace continue to be popular among companies. That means giving employees the option to work in different types of spaces including large and small meeting and conference rooms, lounge areas, “heads-down” workspaces, cafe and amenity spaces and more.
