International Living Future Institute (IFLI) Issues CRTKL’s JUST Label Scorecard

Announcement | March 2, 2021

BALTIMORE, Md. – March 2, 2021 – The JUST label is not a certification program, it is a transparency platform for organizations to disclose their operations, including how they treat their employees and where they make financial and community investments. Simply speaking, JUST is a nutrition label for socially just and equitable organizations.

“Our objective as a large firm seeking the JUST Label was two-fold. Beyond evaluating our policies and practices to really think systemically about what drives how we work, it was also about connecting the dots between all of the people and efforts that are already going on. The JUST label process was a way to make our big firm feel a bit smaller,” says Yarden Harari, Associate.

This approach requires reporting on a range of organization- and employee-related indicators. Each indicator outlines measurable accountabilities in order for the organization to be recognized at four levels of performance, which are summarized elegantly on the label.

“The JUST label is an important step because it reveals the tremendous progress we have made already and acts as a springboard to hold ourselves accountable to our goals. It’s also a great source to consistently benchmark our progress over time,” says Anna Leach, Associate Principal. “The label isn’t the endgame, it’s the first step in proactively working to become a better organization.”

CRTKL’s label reads as follows:
