Global architecture firm and creative thinkers, CallisonRTKL, have formed a Happiness by Design partnership with coach|sultancy® DH Global, and leading Egyptian developer Mountain View, working together on a pilot project in Egypt with Mountain View’s ‘Happy HQ’ being used as a case study for Happiness design principles in action.
Combining CallisonRTKL’s human-centric design expertise with DH Global’s Science of Happiness, the data-driven process is being worked into a Happiness by Design index, which could be as important as BREEAM in assessing the performance and social impact of design.
At MIPIM, the partnership will be unpacking the Happiness movement, exploring how something as intangible as Happiness can be effectively measured and discussing the benefits of a Happiness-led building design approach for all involved.
The panel discussion is taking place from 11:30 am on Wednesday 11 March, with panelists including CallisonRTKL’s Senior Vice President Katie Sprague, DH Global CEO Jenn Lim and Mountain View Founder and CEO Amr Soliman.
