SEATTLE, WA—October 17 2019– CallisonRTKL Vice President Cindi Kato has been selected as one of four 2019 Shop! Women of Distinction finalists.
Shop!, a global trade association focused on enhancing retail environments and experiences, is hosting their annual three-day conference, Shop!X, November 6-8 in Atlanta, GA. The conference offers equal parts education and member-to-member networking to encourage attendees to expand their thinking and return to their jobs – and lives – with fresh ways to approach challenges and build better retail experiences.
On the second day of the event, the association will recognize the four finalists, including Kato, up for the Women of Distinction Awards in Atlanta. Kato will also be featured in an upcoming issue of Retail Environments magazine.
Shop! launched the Women of Distinction Awards in 2017 to recognize women who have truly excelled, not only in their professional lives, but as leaders and role models to other women within the industry.
“It’s an honor to be recognized amongst such an influential group of women in our industry,” says Kato, vice president and director of global retail business development in CRTKL’s Seattle office. “I’m grateful to the Shop! Earlier this year, Kato was also named a 2019 Retail Design Influencer by design:retail magazine and is the president of PAVE (Planning and Visual Education).
