CRTKL Joins Transport for London (TFL), Legal & General and Argent for New Bisnow Event

Announcement | June 9, 2020

LONDON, UK – June 9, 2020 — Just as the pandemic is redefining how we live, it is changing our perceptions of place and challenging us to rethink the design and functionality of our built environment.

Once fit-for-purpose buildings will face new demands in a post-pandemic world. Questions around usage and typology will be raised as we are forced to consider how existing assets can be reconfigured and future ones can be shaped to better withstand crisis and change.

For answers, Bisnow is looking to CRTKL’s Jorge Beroiz, who will join ‘The Art of the Mix: COVID-proofing Existing & Future Developments’ webinar next week alongside Bill Hughes, Head of Real Assets at Legal & General, David Partridge, Managing Partner at Argent and Siobhan Jared, Senior Business and Customer Performance Manager at TFL.

Together these placemaking and design experts will discuss how mixed-use developments can be transformed to embody a higher level of resiliency in the future. Also, on the agenda:

– Changes to occupier engagement needs and how to provide a sense of purpose
– Design strategies that preserve and de-risk assets
– Redefining socialising for those industries that depend on it
– Cultural-led regeneration approaches that foster social connections between people and places
