CIRE Magazine Talks With Daun St. Amand About Mixed-Use Urban Living

As the population continues to increases, so do housing costs. These rising costs are pushing millennials and those that can’t afford downtown highrises, to the suburbs. But, that urban mixed-use is still desired, so the design is adapting to accommodate these needs and wants.

“We see more and more trends toward these mixed-use projects where you have this blend of uses,” says Daun St. Amand, a senior vice president. This means access to restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and mixed housing for different living situations.
