American Greetings Headquarters in Westlake, Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland) is chosen by AIA Jury for the 2018 Maryland Excellence in Design Awards
WASHINGTON DC – October 10, 2018 – CallisonRTKL, the global architecture and design firm, is pleased to announce that the American Greetings Headquarter project in Cleveland, Ohio was selected by an AIA jury for the 2018 AIA annual Maryland Excellence in Design Awards.
The CRTKL team was challenged to create a workplace that embodies the company’s collaborative mission and attracts artistic talent. American Greetings is a family-owned business known for its creativity and innovation. The new Creative Studios honors their rich history and anticipates their future business evolution. Bright, open floor plans, a diversity of space types, an exterior courtyard that’s visible from almost everywhere and creative moments are strategically placed to keep employees inspired.
“We wanted the new headquarters to exude the passion and creativity of the company. By making it feel less like a traditional office and more like an inspiring studio with access to a courtyard, gallery space and varied workspaces, we were able to physically showcase what AG is all about,” says Senior Associate Vice President Jennifer Barnes.
