Partnered with our parent company Arcadis, CRTKL led a week-long design sprint to conceive and prototype a new process for planning the city’s 11 boroughs. Key to the concept was a new digital tool – a predictive planning engine, that allows developers and planners to collaborate, leveraging traffic, transit, usage, economic and population data across the city. This approach is now central to the city’s commitment to the development of over 11,000 new homes per year for the next decade.
