Improving city-wide transportation through co-creation and commuter incentivization.
Partnering with Arcadis’ digital innovation team, CRTKL facilitated a design sprint to tackle traffic in Amsterdam, one of Europe’s fastest growing cities. The working group included teams from the city, IBM, Arcadis, CRTKL and Accenture. The five-day sprint included a deep dive into the user’s needs, design of a revenue-neutral business model to incentivize low-impact travel, and the development and testing of a prototype mobile app to manage commuting. The program was handed off to the city for further development.
