Böhme reached out to CallisonRTKL to create a captivating in-store experience that represents the böhme brand and builds upon the unique sisterhood of the two founders. The böhme sisters represent the brand and the inspiration for this fashion apparel concept. Each sister brings a distinct point of view, one more business and one more creative — both are passionate, smart, and engaging.

The resulting prototype design captures the look and feel of an alluring feminine loft that is equal parts creative, casual and relaxing with artistic touches sprinkled throughout. Natural materials add warmth, texture and character, while focus is created through hierarchy of scale, fixtures and lighting.

Appealing to their customers — the “sweet adventurer,” the “simple multi-tasker,” and the “creative curator,” CallisonRTKL needed to organize collections around Work, Travel, Live and Play in a straightforward and easily shoppable experience. Opportunities for discovery and delight are generated through these curated merchandise displays and while communicating the böhme brand which is as multi-faceted as the two founders.
