On August 4, the global press conference of Shenzhen Gemdale Viseen took place in great pomp, marking the birth of GBA Core Cube in China’s South Silicon Valley, a new green business masterpiece. Designed by CallisonRTKL, the technology-empowered Shenzhen Gemdale Viseen will lead the future development of workplaces, and demonstrate cities as a force for upward growth, with an eye on delivering a healthy and smart landmark workplace. The future benchmark of new smart workplace has made its debut!
CallisonRTKL was responsible for the architectural design of what is the first mixed-use project for industry and office purposes presented by Gemdale. With an overall floor area of 280,000 square meters. It will serve as an international super-Grade A office building, industrial park, commercial facility and sports park.
Commercial office buildings are the epitome of the economy and industries in a city, and landmark buildings are the symbol of urban vitality and culture. Located at the core area of the world-famous Yuehai Street in Nanshan District, Shenzhen Gemdale Viseen is an upgraded masterpiece of Gemdale Viseen Technology & Business Park, and also the urban green lung of the central block of the Nanshan Science and Technology Park.
Building on the industrial gene of Gemdale Viseen Technology & Business Park, Shenzhen Gemdale Viseen will make itself an international eco-business flagship integrating business office, green ecology, sports, health, art and culture, becoming a new landmark for attracting high-tech industries in Shenzhen.

In its design, CallisonRTKL has fully considered the multi-dimensional possibility of youth and creativity found in Shenzhen only, so flexibility, diversity and uniqueness are of great significance to the development of this project. Architects must adopt a “people-oriented” philosophy, and always ensure that design is to serve people’s needs. To this end, CallisonRTKL delivered a flexible and targeted comprehensive design solution, hoping that people who work, shop and live in the buildings will be more inclusive, healthy, trendy and environment-conscious, igniting their passion for life while enjoying the spatial and artistic appeal of the design.
May also said that Shenzhen Gemdale Viseen has played a leading role in business office in Shenzhen: in addition to office, it also helped create a powerful space for entrepreneurial culture. In the design process, CallisonRTKL followed the principle of incorporating nature into buildings, in response to the need for buildings to contribute to the city as well as the reflections about the surrounding area and the South Silicon Valley in China.
