CRTKL stands in support of our Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities against any acts of violence and reproach as we actively look to pursue and shape a safer community for all.
The past year has presented us with unconceivable challenges. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, one constant has been a rise in the harassment and discrimination against the broader Asian and Pacific Islander community. Whether in action or in language, racist rhetoric and other types of hate crimes cannot be tolerated—ever.
We embrace and celebrate diversity and the advancement of a human-centered design approach across our projects. Our design is for all people – building communities that focus on wellbeing, prosperity, and happiness. Our social responsibility should be sought after in earnest in all that we do and reflected in our partnerships and our treatment of each other, our clients, and the world.
We will continue to actively work against racism, sexism, and other forms of bias by heightening awareness and education. As such, we will implement facilitated, safe-space discussions to open the conversation around combatting racism, addressing employee concerns and what to do as allies.
