Cindi Kato to Present at Euroshop 2020

Announcement | February 7, 2020

BERLIN, Germany — February 7, 2020 — CallisonRTKL Vice President and Global Retail Business Development Director Cindi Kato will present “Blurring of the Lines in Design Experiences” at Euroshop 2020 on Tuesday, February 18 at 1 pm in Dusseldorf, Germany. The presentation will showcase how different sectors of business are cross-pollinating to create new, unique customer experiences.

EuroShop is a trade fair for retail investment requirements. Kato’s presentation will explore the traditional rules of retail design—and how to break them. As retail becomes increasingly experience-based, Kato will answer the question on everyone’s lips: how do we thrive in the retail revolution?

As a 35-year veteran of the design industry, Kato has managed retail, hospitality, restaurant, healthcare and banking projects across the United States and abroad. She currently serves as President of the Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) and is a board member of Shop!, a committee member of Shop! Women’s League and a member of the design:retail magazine advisory board.  She is an active member of the Retail Design Institute (RDI) and board emeritus for Washington State University’s Department of Interior Design + Construction.
