CRTKL adds three strategic hires to their expanding workplace group

DALLAS – November 7, 2018 – CallisonRTKL, the global architecture and design firm, strengthens its growing Dallas workplace studio with the strategic addition of three team members focused on redefining how we deliver and craft experiences for people in the workplace. Rina Burnett, April Coover, and Michael Horton join the firm, each bringing an individual perspective and skill set along with an international portfolio of fully integrated design solutions from ground-up to tenant development.

“This is a game-changer for us,” says CRTKL Executive Vice President Kelly Farrell. “These three professionals not only complement our existing team but make us a force to be reckoned with in this market, which has emerged as one of the most dynamic and challenging in the country. Our goal is nothing less than redefining how companies will work in the future, and we now have the team to do just that.”

Rina Burnett brings more than two decades of insight and leadership to the Dallas workplace studio. Her ability to direct multi-disciplinary teams, work fluidly across all project phases, and maintain timelines and budgets while successfully leading project documentation make her a vital asset. She holds a global portfolio and some of her most notable projects include Trend Micro, ATT Stadium and the Jersey Boys Theatre.

April Coover has a proven record of designing and implementing tools and strategies that elevate the human experience in the built environment. She utilizes scalable methods throughout the design process and constantly pushes boundaries to bring thoughtful, innovative solutions to the table. Her diverse clientele includes brands such as Google, Liberty Mutual and AIA/DCFA Dallas.

Michael Horton is a passionate design leader in the Dallas workplace studio. He uses an experiential, solutions-driven approach to deliver projects that resonate with clients’ evolving needs. He holds an extensive domestic and international portfolio that includes household names such as Google, Yeti and Bloomingdales.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have these three join us here in Dallas,” says Senior Associate Vice President Brian Fox. “Our group has been hyper-focused on moving the needle. Rina, April and Michael not only make us more dynamic and inventive but also bring us the local knowledge and brain power to redefine this market.”

Earlier this year, CRTKL’s workplace team also welcomed Dani Veeder to lead client outreach efforts.

Veeder supports CRTKL’s clients in the local Dallas market, primarily focused on office, workplace and mission critical. With a background in sales, business development and marketing, Dani has a proven ability to raise brand awareness while transforming meaningful relationships into critical opportunities and innovation.

Burnett, Coover and Horton join Fox and a tested team of workplace pros: Joelle Jach, who specializes in change management; Briggs Moon, a technology designer; and Sarah McAnulty, Sydney Sharp, and Andrea Romero, who all play a vital role in serving clients and advancing CRTKL’s brand and mission.
