CallisonRTKL President and CEO Kelly Farrell spoke with San Diego Business Journal’s Ray Huard at length in “Two Downtown Towers to Add to City’s Skyline” to share details of the firm’s landmark projects in San Diego’s East Village.

CallisonRTKL has designed a sculptural residential tower, “an art piece in its own right,” with pool and sky decks as well as ground floor retail and nine levels of parking.

“A fault line can be a big challenge but it turned out to be such an opportunity for the garden,” Farrell said. “What we were able to deliver was a much better pedestrian experience because that fault link carved a garden through the site.”
