CHICAGO, Ill. – Jan. 14, 2020 – CallisonRTKL’s Chicago office will host the AIA Chicago Young Architects Forum on Wednesday, January 29 from 6-7:30pm CST at 200 S Michigan Avenue, Suite 1800 in Chicago, IL.
The AIA Chicago Young Architects Forum (YAF) is a network for emerging professionals in the architecture and design industry, supported by the American Institute of Architects, who are interested in furthering the discussion of design, professional development, and collaboration within our community. If you are a young designer (under 40) join us for intriguing social and educational events.

Mark Lauterbach, AIA, OAA, Vice President and Office Director
Mark Lauterbach is a passionate architect and creative design leader. His portfolio of work ranges from interiors, shopping entertainment districts and large-scale mixed-use developments. Mark has received 15 American Institute of Architects Design Awards honoring his work, in addition to numerous industry awards and recognition. Mark is a member of the Executive Committee representing Design Strategy for the firm, and the Chicago Office Director.
Nicholas Spoor, AIA, Senior Associate
Nicholas Spoor is a Senior Associate in CallisonRTKL’s Chicago Office. He brings 18 years of wide-ranging, hands-on experience in all aspects of the design and construction process to each project. Nicholas is also known for his creative solutions to adaptive re-use and mixed-use projects.
Camila de Simas, Registered Architect, Brazil, Associate
Camila de Simas’ architectural background and large-scale master planning experience has led to a specialty in new community developments and the broader field of urban design and place-making on projects in the UK, Latin America, Russia, China and India.
