Located in the Songshan Lake scenic area, the 49,376-SM project is largely a retail development that also includes a mix of boutique hospitality, specialty dining, and entertainment options. The overall plan is based on a framework of streets, squares, green areas and other urban spaces that organically integrates building units of different masses and functions. The carefully designed layout increases ease of mobility and circulation. The team also calculated the impact of the local monsoon season and chose to employ vertical greening and green roofs, helping to meet both environmental and ecological goals.
