Vanke Dongguan Aloft Hotel
Starwood’s Aloft Dongguan Songshan Lake, a 193-key hotel situated along the tranquil Songshan Lake and surrounded by lush mountains, caters to the style-conscious guest with its digitally and socially connected facilities and offerings.
Inspired by local culture and natural surroundings, CallisonRTKL’s design successfully tackles the challenge of aligning with Aloft’s trendy, fashionable brand while making its home in between a high-tech industrial park on one side and a stunning landscape on the other. The shape of sails on the nearby lake is visually translated into the hotel’s façade, and the building is oriented such that guests benefit from breathtaking views of Dongguan’s “mist rain” and accompanying rainbows. Aloft Dongguan Songshan Lake’s interiors are modern, fashion-forward and colorful, with urban-inspired guest rooms, state-of-the-art conference spaces and dynamic social and dining venues.
