U.S. Naval Academy: Bancroft Hall Rehabilitation

Restoring and updating this century-old historic site required an efficient design that was flexible enough to accommodate future needs. For this 10-year, phased renovation, CallisonRTKL worked with leaders from the U.S. Naval Academy to create an environment that would address three primary concerns: accommodate present and future technological advancements, match the complex’s historic nature and minimize disruption to ongoing activities. The new space provides dorm rooms, administrative offices, a galley and dining facility, and support services for over 4,200 Midshipmen.
