A health clinic becomes a patient favorite through intuitive, flexible design.
CallisonRTKL designed this clinic with the goal of offering the best primary care experience for workers and residents in an urban neighborhood. Based on the International Council of Quality Care parameters for care team effectiveness, the clinic is organized into two care team pods and a “minute clinic,” with a separate waiting lounge serving walk-in patients. A concierge greets arriving patients, and the intuitive design guides them to the simple check-in process, and finally to an exam room designed for provider effectiveness and patient family comfort.
