International Monetary Fund Media Studio

In need of an in-house media room, the IMF selects CallisonRTKL to create a state-of-the-art studio.

Each week, the International Monetary Fund’s communication team receives dozens of requests for media interviews of senior directors. In an effort to increase response rates for these requests, the organization reached out to CallisonRTKL to create a broadcast studio within its headquarters building. The CallisonRTKL team provided comprehensive design services including: programming, site evaluation, interior architecture, and audiovisual, acoustic and MEP engineering for this state-of-the-art, 800-SF space. The project includes a three-camera HD broadcast via local AVOCs circuits and live HD web streaming to public internet and IMF internal networks. The resulting facility supports the IMF’s new initiatives to improve internal and external communication.
