Bahrain City Centre

Designed to serve as an oasis from the heat and activity of Manama, this mixed-use development covers three levels of retail and entertainment, the largest indoor/outdoor water park in the region, a multi-screen cinema, numerous restaurants and two hotel towers. The design reflects the region’s coastal influences through a cool color palette, soft forms and filtered light that provide a refreshing contrast from the heat and intensity of the external environment. A dynamic wave-like structure serves as the project’s backbone along with a central plaza that facilitates easy circulation and functions as a community gathering place.
